I'm Mike Vardy. I'm a writer, speaker, and podcaster.

Writing

My work has appeared in the pages of SUCCESS Magazine, and online at The Huffington Post, Lifehacker, David Allen's GTD Times blog, and many more. I've served as Managing Editor of the popular productivity blog Lifehack, and as and editor at The Next Web and WorkAwesome. I'm the author of The Front Nine: How to Start the Year You Want Anytime You Want, published by Diversion Books, and in April 2013 I co-founded Workflowing, a site that aims to help people do better.

Speaking

I've given talks on productivity and technology, as well as several featured keynotes and workshops related to time, task, project, and goal management. My candid and accessible approach has made me a desirable speaker, and I've spoken for small groups in a workshop setting and in front of audiences in the hundreds. With each talk I do, my goal is to help people become more aware of the present so that they can go forward with more focus and purpose. You can see what upcoming events I'll be speaking at on the Events page and find out more about my talks at my Speaking page.

Podcasting

As a podcaster, I've created, produced and hosted several over the years. I currently co-host Mikes on Mics with Michael Schechter, a productivity and work-life podcast that is part of the popular 70Decibels network, and Talking is Dead with Anthony Marco, a podcast where I talk about pretty much everything but productivity. I also collaborate with Schechter on a new podcast for Workflowing, which is a free members-only podcast.
